Bitto Albertini

Adalberto Albertini (also Bitto Albertini, born July 24, 1924 in Turin, † 22 February 1999 Zagarolo ) was an Italian cinematographer and film director.

Life

Albertini was eighteen years old and started to film as a camera assistant, from 1946 as a camera assistant and received two years later the first opportunity to work as a cameraman. He photographed from 1948 to 1966 about 70 films, including many dramas, adventure films and peplums, with his sense of visual effects became noticeable, such as in Hercules, the terror of the Huns or David and Goliath.

The mid-1960s he moved into directing, where he is never more than entertaining Kommer Zware produced in different genres, with mostly tailored to young audiences themes and a limited budget. Mid-1970 he moved to the genre of softcore and turned some Emanuelle epigones (often under the pseudonym Albert Thomas ). Many of his films saw a video reissues under adventurous tracks around the world.

Among his other pseudonyms include Al Albert, Albert J. Walker, Stanley Mitchell and Ben Norman.
