Björn Leukemans

Bjorn Leukemans began his career in 2000 at the Belgian cycling team Vlaanderen 2002. After two years he moved to to Palmans - Collstrop and after a further two years MrBookmaker.com. Here he was able to win his first professional victory in 2004. In the Tour of Belgium, he won the fifth stage. As of 2005 drove Leukemans for the Belgian ProTeam Davitamon -Lotto.

In September 2007 Leukemans tested positive for testosterone at a training control. Thereupon the Belgian federation locked him in January 2008 for two years.

After his suspension Leukemans was in 2009 a member of the Dutch team Vacansoleil and won from 2010 to 2013 four times in a row Druivenkoers and 2011, the Tour du Limousin.
