Black pied (cattle)

The Black Pied dairy cattle (SMR ) was created by combining the penitentiary beef breed of the GDR.

Prof. Schönmuth hit 1963, the crossing procedure: In the initial race Black Colorful lowland cattle Jersey bulls from Denmark are crossed. In the progeny of this cross Holstein cattle are to be checked.

This breed was continued until 1990. After the reunification of Germany, the Black Pied dairy cattle was supplanted by the German Holstein Cattle.
