Blackberry OS

The BlackBerry OS (proper spelling BlackBerry OS; until the fifth edition known as the BlackBerry Device Software, also known as Research In Motion's OS) is a proprietary, free usage ( Freeware) multi-tasking operating system for smartphones. It is used by the company Blackberry ( formerly Research In Motion) for the devices of the brand BlackBerry. Apps can be purchased in the accompanying BlackBerry World Store.

Technology

It is programmed in C and provides a Java environment (J2ME - MIDP ) with special interfaces for the operation of ( Dienst-/Anwendungs- ) programs.
