Blackwater Park was a Berliner hard rock band from the early 1970s.

Band History

In 1970, bassist Andreas Scholz left for musical reasons, the progressive rock band Murphy Blend to switch to Blackwater Park. These dedicated in order to survive in the international market can, the English singer Richard Routledge. In 1971, the band management was able to negotiate a contract with BASF. However, their support for the band and the recording conditions for the debut album to have been deficient, so that Routledge left the band quickly.
