Blancanus (crater)

Blancanus is an impact crater in the southern lunar front side, southeast of the crater Scheiner and southwest of Clavius ​​. The circular crater wall shows inside terracing, the crater floor is level.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the Italian Jesuit and astronomer Giuseppe Biancani.
