La Guadalhorce (Spanish: Isla La Blanquilla ) is a Venezuelan island in the Caribbean Sea, about 300 km north-east of Caracas, the Venezuelan capital, and located about 90 km north of Isla Margarita. Geographically, the island is one of the Windward Islands, administratively to the Venezuelan Dependencias Federales ( Federal Territories ).

La Blanquilla has a fan - like shape with a circumference of about 55 km and a land area of ​​64.53 km ². It reaches a maximum height of 30 meters above the sea. The uninhabited island is surrounded by coral reefs with black corals and therefore represents a popular destination for divers

At La Blanquilla the Venezuelan Navy operates a side Coast Guard Station ( Estación de Secundaria Guardacostas ), which is the main station Pampatar downstream on the island of Margarita.
