Blaw-Knox

Blaw -Knox was the leading producer of asphalt pavers and the developer of the first street wide pneumatic tires asphalt paver in 1968 (PF -220). The company dates back to the merger of the steel construction company Blaw Knox and 1917. Since 1927, the striking Blaw- Knox transmission towers were built. Getting into road construction technique was 1929 with the acquisition of AW French & Company, a manufacturer of concrete pavers. 1995 was taken over by Blaw -Knox, Ingersoll Rand, which was sold in 2007, the road department at Volvo Construction Equipment.
