Błażej Augustyn

Blazej Augustyn (born 26 January 1988 Strzelin, Poland ) is a Polish footballer.

Career

Association

Augustyns career began in his native country at Strzelinianka Strzelin. About the stations Slask Wroclaw and UKS SMS Łódź, he joined the youth wing of the English football club Bolton Wanderers in 2005. In July 2006, he came to the reserve team. His competitive debut for the Trotters were the poles in the third round of the FA Cup against Doncaster Rovers when he came in to replace Abdoulaye Meite. In England, the 191 cm wide central defender played mainly in the reserve team of Bolton Wanderers. In the 2007 /08 season he played again in Poland Legia Warszawa for. With the Polish Erstligateam he was able to win the national cup in his first year. In the 2008 /09 season Augustyn was awarded in Italy's Serie B to Rimini Calcio. From summer 2009, the defender played for the Italian first division club Catania Calcio, but was awarded in the 2011/12 season at Vicenza Calcio in Serie B. For the 2013/14 season Augustyn moved back to his homeland to Gornik Zabrze. During his time in Italy, he completed 17 league games in Serie A and 30 league games in the series B.

Augustyn has played in the U-18, U-19 and U-21 national team of Poland.
