Blessed by a Broken Heart

Blessed by a Broken Heart (short: BBABH ) is a six-piece metal band from Montreal ( Canada). The band was founded in 2003 and is currently with Century Media Records.

The first album All's Fair in Love and War by Blessed by a Broken Heart was released in 2004 with Blood & Ink Records, and was assigned to the metalcore genre. The musical direction of the band since then changed greatly in the direction of 80's / Hair Metal / Pop. Was taken forward, this style change by the guitarist Shred Sean, who joined the band in 2005.

After a tour in late 2006 singer Jon Cline left the band. For him, Tony Gambino came new to this. In January 2007 the band signed with the label Century Media. Then they retreated to the studio to receive along with producer GGGarth Pedal to the Metal, their first album with the new label. The rest of the year were BBABH in the U.S. on tour with The Devil Wears Prada, A Day to Remember and My Children My Bride, on a second tour they were accompanied by It Dies Today, Silent Civilian, and Bring Me the Horizon.

2006, BBABH for the first time in Europe. Your played together with the British band Enter Shikari headlining tour was completely sold out. In early 2008 came the band from Montreal again to a small European tour, on which they were Bring Me the Horizon (UK), Architects ( UK), Maroon (DE) and accompanied by Azriel in England (UK).

After the European tour in early 2008, the two long-time band members left Robbie Hart ( rhythm guitar ) and Simon Foxx (keyboards) the band.

The second studio album Pedal To The Metal was released on 18 August 2008 in Europe and on September 2, 2008 in the USA. The album has eleven songs regularly, in the United States is exclusively sold by Hot Topic a special edition with two bonus songs.
