Blizzard of Ozz ( a pun on Blizzard, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Ozzy ), the debut album of the solo band of Ozzy Osbourne, which, however, appeared in the UK on 12 September 1980 in the United States until 27 March 1981.

Formation

After his departure from the band Black Sabbath in 1979 Osbourne decided to start a solo career. In the fall of 1979 he started together with guitarist Randy Rhoads (ex Quiet Riot ) with the songwriting. Early 1980, Osbourne signed a recording contract with Jet Records.
