Blu Mankuma
Blu Mankuma ( born July 5, 1950 in Seattle, Washington ) is an American actor.
Life
The African- American Mankuma was involved in his youth in the resistance of the colored minority in the U.S. against oppression and discrimination. When the Vietnam War broke out in the sixties of the last century, was an avowed pacifist Mankuma in opposition to this and refused to comply with the call-up order. Instead, he left the United States, moved to Vancouver / Canada and began his career as an actor.
World famous Mankuma was the role of the slave Jim in the television series The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. He also starred in countless television productions, such as Forever Night, the television series RoboCop or Beast Wars.
Besides his work as an actor, Mankuma is also a musician. He sings and writes her own songs. He and his family now lives in Vancouver.
