Blu-spec CD

Blu- spec CD describes an Audio CD version, which was introduced by Sony Music Entertainment (SME ), 2008. Instead of an infrared laser, a blue laser is similar to that for Blu-ray discs used for the preparation of a Blu- spec CD master. Thus, the structures can be produced much more precise, the disc generated should ideally have a lower jitter than an audio CD. The sound of a Blu- spec CD can not be better compared to a fault- free pressed ordinary audio CD as it contains no additional information.
