Blue Dart Aviation is an Indian cargo airline based in Chennai and based on the Chennai airport.

History

Blue Dart Express was founded in 1983 and was originally a door-to- door express service for documents and parcels. In 1996, Blue Dart Express overnight express freight company called Blue Dart Aviation Ltd.. In 2006, Blue Dart Express was acquired by DHL, but will continue to operate as an independent company and flies under its own name and colors. It also operates its own repair and maintenance facility for its own fleet and other companies.

Destinations

Blue Dart Aviation operates domestic overnight express and scheduled cargo flights as well as regional and national charter cargo flights. Currently operated Blue Dart Express a network of cargo flights between Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
