Blue Goose Records

Blue Goose Records is a record label that was founded in the early 1970s by Nick Perls.

While Perls on the sister label Yazoo Records re-released rare footage from the 1920/1930er years of blues and jazz musicians, he produced for Blue Goose Records new footage of then recent discovery of African-American musicians like Sam Chatmon, Son House, Yank Rachell, Shirley Griffith Thomas Shaw and Bill Williams, as well as by younger artists from the USA and the UK as Larry Johnson, Jo Ann Kelly, Woody Mann, Roger Hubbard, Roy Book binder, R. Crumb & His Cheap Suit Serenaders and Rory Block.

Most of the Blue Goose Records albums have been re-released on the Japanese label "Air Mail Recordings " in 2002 on CD.
