Bnei Shimon Regional Council

The B'nei Shimon Regional Council (Hebrew מועצה אזורית בני שמעון Mo'atza Azorit B'nei Shimon ) is an Israeli regional administration. It is named after one of the twelve tribes of Israel, the tribe of Simeon.

Location

The B'nei Shimon Regional Council is located in the northern Negev, in the Southern District.

History

In the field of regional administration " 11 Point Program in the Negev desert " were first established in 1946 as part of the four localities ( three kibbutzim and one moshav ). Other cities were built after the creation of Israel. The regional government was established in 1952.
