Boardwalk Hall
The Boardwalk Hall, formerly the Atlantic City Convention Hall, is a hall in Atlantic City (New Jersey). It can hold up to 17,000 people. The hall was from 24 to August 27, 1964 hosted the Democratic National Convention, in which the U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson was nominated for the upcoming election as a candidate.
Architectural History
The hall was built in 1929 to plans by the architects Lockwood -Greene & Co.. In 1987 she was a National Historic Landmark.
Interior decoration
The hall is home to the largest number of pipe organ in the world.
