Boaz
Boaz (Hebrew: בועז ) is a Judean landowners from Bethlehem, which plays a major role in the book of Ruth in the Old Testament in the Bible.
He is depicted as a kind man who cares about the welfare of its workers and members of his family. Therefore, he also takes Ruth, the widow of a distant relative, according to the Leviratgesetz as solver for woman and becomes the great-grandfather of King David.
According to Matthew 1.5 SLT Boas is a son of Salma and Salmon and Rahab.
