Bob Gutowski

Bob Gutowski (actually Robert Allen Gutowski; born April 25, 1935 in San Pedro, California; † August 2, 1960 at Camp Pendleton, California ) was an American pole vaulter of Polish descent who was successful in the second half of the 1950s. He jumped a world record and won an Olympic silver medal.

The qualified industrial chemist was a member of the Marine Corps with the rank of lieutenant.
