Bob Miller (American football)

Bob Miller ( born December 11, 1929 in Norwalk, Connecticut as Marguese Robert Miller; † August 7, 2006 in Clarkston, Michigan ) was an American football player. He played from 1952 to 1958 as a tackle for the Detroit Lions in the NFL.

Life

Miller attended the University of Virginia, finishing in 13th place in the list of the best graduates in 1951. He played for Detroit in 1952 in the NFL and won with his team the title in 1952, 1953 and 1957. The final title in 1954 lost his team. He was elected in 1956 as the best tackle of the Sporting News. After his footballer career, he bought a racing team.

Bob Miller died on August 7, 2006 in Clarkston, Michigan at the age of 76 from cancer.
