Bob Morgan (diver)

Robert " Bob" Morgan ( born March 27, 1967 in Cardiff ) is a former British diver. He started for the club Highgate Diving Club in the art of jumping from the 3 -meter board and in the 10 -meter platform diving. Morgan won two medals at the European Championships and participated in four Olympic Games. For Wales, he also won three medals at the Commonwealth Games.

Between 1984 and 1996, Morgan participated in four consecutive Olympic Games. 1984 in Los Angeles, he was ranked 14 from the tower, in 1988 in Seoul Rank 29 from the 3 -meter board and 15th place from the tower, Barcelona 1992 Rank 15 from the board and in the final fifth of the tower, and finally in 1996 in Atlanta ranked 24th by Brett and rank 13 from the tower.

His best result at the World Championships sixth places were each in diving in 1991 in Perth and 1994 in Rome. At the European Championships in 1991 in Athens and 1993 Morgan won bronze in Sheffield silver, each in the 10 -meter platform diving.

Between 1982 and 1998, Morgan also participated for his native Wales to five Commonwealth Games, winning a complete set of medals in the 10 -meter platform diving. 1986 in Edinburgh, he won bronze in 1990 in Auckland gold and so his only title at a major championship and 1994 in Victoria silver.
