Bobby Roode

Robert F. "Bobby" Roode, Jr. ( born January 1, 1977 in Peterborough, Ontario ) is a Canadian wrestler who regularly occurring at the time for promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

Career

Roode started his career in June 1998 and was trained in his hometown of Shane Sewell and Sean Morley. Subsequently, he was to be seen until 2004 in the independent scene and in dark matches in the WWE.

In May 2004, Roode by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling was signed and debuted as a member of Team Canada. He won with Eric Young twice, namely on 10 October 2004 and on 7 December 2004, the NWA World Tag Team Championship. In this team, he was a member until July 2006, before the group had to disband. This was followed by feuds with, among others, Eric Young and Booker T.

In the TNA iMPACT! Edition of 12 June 2008 Roode began an alliance with James Storm and feuded against the reigning Tag Team Champions LAX ( Homicide & Hernandez ). From the selfsame TNA World Tag won the Tag Team Roode / Storm, which henceforth took the name Beer Money Inc., at Hard Justice on August 10, 2008 Team Championship. These they held until December 16, 2008, TNA iMPACT, they won at Genesis on January 11, 2009 by Lethal Consequences (Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed ) back. The new title loss followed at Lockdown on April 10, 2009, Team 3D. At Slammiversary on June 21, 2009, Roode got together with Storm back the Tag Team titles. On July 19, 2009 Victory Road they had to hand the title to the Main Event Mafia ( Booker T and Scott Steiner). In June 2010, Roode was a part of the grouping Fortune. In Genesis 9 January 2011 Roode once again received with Storm the tag team title after a victorious match against the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin ). On August 9, 2011 at Impact Wrestling, they lost the title to Mexican America ( Anarquia & Hernandez ). This is the longest title to date rain shaft in the tag team of TNA area.

In the big event No Surrender 11 September 2011 he won the Bound for Glory Series, which he secured the right to a title match. This match at the big event Bound for Glory on October 16, 2011 compared to the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle, however he lost. Two weeks later, on 26 October 2011, he won the title at the tapings for Impact Wrestling from his tag team partner James Storm, which meant the end of Beer Money. On 8 July 2012 at Destination X Roode lost the title for the longest title reign to Austin Aries. Along with Aries he again won the TNA World Tag Team Championship, but they had to give back to the previous title holder Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez on April 11, 2013 in the Impact Wrestling records on 25 January 2013.
