Bodysuit

A Bodysuit ( English for " body suit " ) or short body is like a one-piece catsuit close-fitting garment of stretchy, usually knitted material. In contrast to the body catsuit has no or only a short leg approach. The body serves as a ( sub) pants and shirt. Bodysuits often have to get started on a push button or hook closure in step ( women ) or via a button or zipper in the chest or back area to allow tightening through the neck opening ( women and men).

Bodysuits are worn as underwear and as street clothing for women as well as men. Even as children's clothing (especially in infants and young children) in the form of Strampelanzügen are common bodysuits.

Early 1990s were bodysuits for men used as underwear. They possessed typically short legs, they were mostly closed about a front button placket.
