Bogle (dancer)

Gerald Levy (* 1965, † 20 January 2005 in Kingston), better known as Bogle, was a dancer in the Jamaican dancehall scene and the leader of the Black Roses crew.

He grew up in the ghettos of Kingston and arrived by dancing to an enormous popularity. Many well-known dances were invented by him. Among his famous dance creations include: the "log on", the "zip it up", the "pop it" and the " Bogle ". He knew many dancehall artists personally and they have recovered his dances in their songs. Bogle was murdered at a gas station in Kingston by a drive-by shooting.
