Bolognesi Province
Bolognesi is one of 20 provinces which make up the Ancash region in Peru. It is bounded on the east by the Huánuco region, in the south to the region and the province of Lima Ocros, on the west by the province huarmey and to the north by the provinces Recuay and Huari. The provincial capital is Chiquián. In the 3154.8 km ² area in the year 2005, there were 26,208 people, representing a population density of 8.3 inhabitants per km ².
