Bombay Bicycle Club
Bombay Bicycle Club are a four -piece indie rock band from London ( Crouch End ), England. The band was founded in 2005 and is composed of Jack Steadman ( vocals, guitar, xylophone), Jamie MacColl (guitar, vocals), Ed Nash ( bass, keyboard, vocals) and Suren de Saram (drums, guitar, vocals) together.
Band History
Steadman, MacColl, and Saram de formed a band called 'The Canals when they were 15 years old. However, they changed their name to Bombay Bicycle Club, one ( in London) known Indian chain of catering companies. Nash joined the following year and this they began to play in small clubs in London. The band opened the ' V Festival ' in 2006 after they had won in the same year the ' Road to V' competition. In May 2007, the British rock magazine NME Bombay Bicycle Club has named the best newcomers.
