Bonnie Pink
Bonnie Pink ( real name: Kaori Asada (浅田 香 织), born April 16, 1973 in Kyoto ) is a Japanese singer.
Your stage name has no special meaning; she has chosen him randomly because she liked the words well. She lives since 1998 in New York City and writes her own songs, mostly in English. She also plays piano and guitar.
Their first single orange she published in 1995 under her real name. In the same year the debut album Blue Jam was released by Pony Canyon Records. She hoped to find there inspiration, but became depressed and processed the frustration in their songs.
With their fourth album Let Go she worked with Mitchell Froom, New York producers of Elvis Costello, Cibo Matto, and Suzanne Vega, who she described as Coproduzentin. The fifth album Just a Girl followed in 2001. A year later she published with other artists to remix re * PINK. As in 2003 and 2004 Present and Even So published, their popularity gradually declined. Two other songs (Cotton Candy and Last Kiss ) were used in two anime, Ring A Bell was the title song of a video game. Your Single Water Me is the soundtrack in watashitachi no Kyokasho, a melancholy drama about the suicide of a young girl.
