Books of the Bible
This list of biblical books transferred to the books of the Bible. The arrangement in the Tanakh and the Old Testament differs between Judaism and the major denominations of Christianity. It follows here for practical reasons, mainly the Catholic and Protestant traditions.
The respective book Christian name ( column 1) followed by their abbreviations in Germany according to widely accepted guidelines Loccumer (column 2). Original Hebrew and Greek letter names and variants thereof are in column 3, optionally translated. The content information (column 5) largely stem from the Thompson study Bible.
Books of the Tanakh without comment are common to Jews and Christians of all denominations. Special book divisions and books that include only some Christian denominations to the Bible, are respectively noted (column 6). These different versions of the Bible, see Bible canon.

The Ethiopian Bible also contains a few other books like the Book of Enoch (which is quoted in the New Testament and was found in Qumran ), for which purpose there are various lists.
Textbooks and Psalms

In the Hebrew Bible, these books are called " rear " prophets, in contrast to the " front " prophets (thus the calculated in Christianity to the history books of Joshua, Judges, Samuel and Kings are meant ).

Here are all the letters that have been traditionally ascribed to Paul listed. Seven of them (Rom, 1/2 Corinthians, Galatians, 1 Thessalonians, Phil, Philemon ) are regarded as beyond doubt genuine.
