Bordeira is a municipality in the district of Aljezur (Portugal ), with an area of 79.9 km ² and 431 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011).
The parish church of Bordeira was built in 1746 and survived the earthquake of 1755. The plain from the outside church surprised by the Baroque interior. The high and the side altars are decorated with wood carvings. Next to the church stands a stone Manueline portal.
In the village Carrapateira is a fortress of 1673, which served to defend the coast against the Moroccan pirates.
Bordeira has two beaches:
- Praia da Bordeira
- Praia do Amado, this is very popular with surfers and bodyboarders
Bordeira part of the natural park Parque Natural do Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina.
