Borden Island

Borden Iceland is one of the Queen Elizabeth Islands in Canada and is located in the western part of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago -. The larger, western part belongs to the Northwest Territories, a small eastern part of the Canadian territory of Nunavut.

The uninhabited island is 2794 km ². Its coastline is relatively flat, the interior of the island is hilly to about 150 m altitude. Your northwest coast bordering the Arctic Ocean. To the northeast lies Ellef Ringnes Iceland, southwest Iceland and Brock Mackenzie King in the South Iceland, from which it is separated by the Strait Wilkins.
