Boris Barnet
Boris Vasilyevich Barnet (Russian Борис Васильевич Барнет, scientific transliteration Boris Vasiljevic Barnet; * 5 Junijul / 18 June 1902greg in Moscow, .. † January 8, 1965 in Riga, Latvia) was a Soviet film director, actor and boxer.
Life
Barnet is one of the great masters of Russian cinema and is considered a representative of a silent, comedian- like style. Barnet's preferred style, a mix between satire and poetry, embedded in so-called everyday substances, became in the 1920s and 1930s to popular cinema. Later he realized despite political discrediting with great effort and diplomatic effort blockbusters like exploits of a scout (1947 ), Golden Summer (1951) and Alenka ( 1961).
Barnet died in 1965 in Riga by suicide.
