Boris Shilkov

Boris Arsenjewitsch Shilkov (Russian Борис Арсеньевич Шилков, scientific transliteration Boris Arsen'evič Šilkov; born June 28, 1927 in Arkhangelsk ) is a former Russian speed skater who competed for the Soviet Union.

In 1954 was Shilkov both world and European Champion in the all around. The following year, he set a world record in the 5,000 meters when he smashed the previous best time equal to 18 seconds.
