Borod

Borod is a municipality in the Westerwald district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Hachenburg. Borod is a nationally recognized tourist.

Geographical location

On the western border of the municipality Hachenburg, in the northwestern part of the Westerwald district, located in a side valley of Wied the community Borod. The village extends from the so-called bone mill on the Wied in a southwesterly direction.
