Bostan (book)

The word Bustan (Persian بوستان, occasionally transmitted as Bostan or Bastan ) originally comes from Persian and refers to a "Garden of Taste", an orchard or kitchen garden.

The word is commonly used with this meaning in other oriental languages, Arabic and Turkish. In addition to the Bustan known in the Orient nor the Golestan ( "Rose Garden ", "Garden of Fragrance " that is, an ornamental garden ), and the Riyad, the walled, enclosed "garden of music and festivities ," often of four small streams from a central fountain starting divided into four rectangles.
