Boulders Beach

Boulders Beach is a stretch of beach in Simon 's Town is about 20 minutes drive from Cape Town ( South Africa) on the Cape Peninsula. Here is an African penguin colony is located.

At Boulders Beach is a visitor center through which one enters the Table Mountain National Park, the beach is part of this national park. Two ridges that protect the local African Penguin colony from the visitors lead to the beach from Foxy Beach. There live about 3000 African Penguins.

The actual beach Boulders Beach can also be used by visitors for swimming. There, African Penguins are also home, but not so numerous as in Foxy Beach.
