Bouvières

Bouvières is a southern French village in the Drôme department in the Rhône -Alpes.

Geography

Bouvières is about 7 km east of Montelimar (air line). The municipal area has a size of 25.05 km ² and comprises mostly agricultural land and forest areas. The river Roubion crosses the territory of the municipality Bouvières.

Population

With 147 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) the community Bouvières one of the smaller communities in the department of Drôme. In 1968 Bouvières still 196 inhabitants, since the population has decreased constantly.
