Bowen (Queensland)

Bowen is a small town in the state of Queensland, Australia. It is located about 200 km south of Townsville and 600 km south of Cairns and is the administrative headquarters of the local government area ( LGA) Whitsunday region. Bowen is a growing area for tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins and mangoes. There are also some beautiful beaches in the city, such as the Horseshoe Bay. Bowen was one of the filming locations for the movie Australia.

Due to its location on the A1 Bowen is easy to reach.
