Bradford is a small American town in Pennsylvania in McKean County. It has about 9,175 inhabitants ( 2000 census ) in an area of 8.9 km ². The city is located at the geographical coordinates 41 ° 57'33 "North and 78 ° 38'41 " West.
The Bradford founded in 1823 is known as the seat of production of the cult Zippo lighter. The city also houses an oil refinery in the "American Refining Group " - the oldest refinery in the U.S., which for 125 years is continuously in operation ( 2006).
