Bradykinesia

The bradykinesia or bradykinesia (Greek βραδυκινησία, bradykinesia, " slow movement " of βραδύς, Bradys, "slow " and κίνηση, kinesis, "the motion " ) is the most common symptom in the early stage of Parkinson 's disease. Bradykinesia should not be confused with hypokinesia ( lack of exercise ), but is distinguished not by rarer, but by slowness of movement. These two symptoms are probably different tripping mechanisms underlying.

Bradykinesia is also a symptom of Huntington's disease (HK ), but occurs in the fourth stage of HK for Binswanger 's disease, the normal pressure hydrocephalus ( NPH) or poisoning with MPTP in the context of contaminated MPPP designer drug use.
