Brammer
Brammer is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein. Brammerau, Brammerhöh and Papenkamp lie in the municipality.
Geography and transport
Brammer is located about 15 kilometers south of Rendsburg on Ox Road in Akrug Nature Park in a very wooded area. The place is easily accessible via the provincial road 328 (formerly 205 highway ), the Federal Highway 7 and the railway line from Rendsburg to Neumünster.
Through the district Brammerau and the place itself the Brammer flows Au. In the middle of the village was in 2003 a development area, the Barlohe, opened up.
History
The town was first mentioned in 1442 as to Brammer, but was probably founded in the 12th or 13th century. The place name derives from the Low German word for blackberry.
Policy
Since the local elections of 2013, the voters Community KWG has all nine seats in the municipal council.

Economy

Furthermore, there is in the SSV Brammer Brammer. This local sport club offers men's soccer also a boule division was founded in 2003. The SSV has its own court, which has been extended to sanitation in 1999 and own boules.
