Brampton (Norfolk)

Brampton is a small village and civil parish in Norfolk, England on the River Bure, west of Aylsham.

The Brampton Railway Station is a holding station of the Bure Valley Railway.

The church of the village called St Peter is one of 124 existing round- tower churches in Norfolk. The Norman tower has an octagonal spire dating from the fifteenth century.

Brampton was a place where various Roman products manufactured and exported on de River Bure from there by boat. During excavations in the 1960s, a bathhouse was found along with many furnaces.
