Bran Van 3000
Bran Van 3000 is a Canadian music group that is to be settled in the genre of electronica. Founded by DJ James Di Salvio, who worked on some songs with Stephane Moraille, Sara Johnston, Jayne Hill, Jean Leloup and other musicians.
History
1997-1999: Glee
The band released their first and most famous single Drinkin ' in LA in February 1997 at the Canadian label Audi Gram Records out. Two months later their first album, Glee, with 17 titles in Canada out. In March 1998, the album was released internationally with major changes: It now contained 19 items. The song Ceci n'est pas une chanson became an instrumental piece entitled Une chanson, in the previously exclusively French title Forest some English verses were inserted, and the previously unreleased track RainShine, Carry On, and Old School were added.
2000-2001: Discosis
In 2000, band member brought E. P. Mountains out the solo album Airport Lounge. 2001 made him MC Stephen " Liquid" Hawley after and released his solo album "Liquid ltd - Better Days ". In the summer of 2001, Bran Van 3000 brought with the assistance of, among others, Youssou N'Dour and Eek -a- Mouse another album, Discosis out. 2006-2007: Rosé
After six years of break, Bran Van 3000 reported in the fall of 2007 returned with the album Rosé, which was released internationally in Canada and on November 27 on October 30. The first single, Call Me ( I'll Be Around Medley), the first track of Rosé, came out in Canada already on 4 October 2007. 2010-2012: The Garden
Influenced by his father, Bobby Di Salvio death, James brought the artist collective together for a fourth time. On 19 October 2010, they released their most emotional and erwachsenstes album "The Garden" with 15 new titles. It was released only in Canada, as well as the first single, Grace ( Love on the Block), on 7 September. Since then, Di Salvio is touring with the band parts of Canada, while also working with old songs with new singers like Miss Abi together. The two main singers Sara Johnston and Jayne Hill are no longer there. But Johnston released in 2011 but their second album Trespassing.
