Brandenburgischer Landespokal

The Brandenburg State Cup since the 2010/11 season due to the sponsorship of the company Krombacher also " Krombacher Cup Brandenburg" is organized by the National Association Football Brandenburg. He is one of currently 21 Association cup competitions. To him be part of the teams of 3.Liga, Regional, league, national league and the best teams in the country class, as well as the district champion and cup winner circle. The winner of the national cup is allowed to participate in the following season, the DFB Cup.

With the beginning of the season 2006/ 07 has now been another cup competition, the so-called area Cup, was launched. In this regional split competition ( North and South), the Cup Winners' Cup football circles as well as the non-qualified for the National Cup Landesklasse teams preseason participated. The winners were able to participate in the following season at the State Cup. The area Cup has now been abolished.

From the season 1999/2000 the unterklassige finalists each has home advantage and from the 2010/2011 season of § 34 has been amended the rules, of the State Association of Brandenburg, after which no more second representatives shall participate in the Cup.

Record winner is the SV Babelsberg 03, who won the trophy eight times, including his second team.
