Branko Bošnjak

Branko Bošnjak (born 14 January 1923 in Stojčinovac in Osijek, Yugoslavia, now Croatia, † June 18, 1996 in Zagreb) was a professor of philosophy at the University of Zagreb.

Life

Branko Bošnjak studied at the University of Zagreb, philosophy, literature and South Slavic languages ​​and Greek. His dissertation in 1956 had the theme Povijest filozofije kao nauka ( history of philosophy as a science ). In 1960 he qualified with his work i dijalektika logos. Studija o Heraklitu ( logos and dialectics. Studies on Heraclitus ). He was a lecturer, since 1963 professor of philosophy at the University of Zagreb, and member of the practice group. In addition to the Greek philosophy was his interest especially to the relationship of Marxism and religion.
