Braude (crater)

Braude is a small, bowl -shaped impact crater on the moon back near the south pole, south-east of the crater Schrödinger and northwest of Wiechert.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 2009 after the Ukrainian physicist and radio astronomer Semen Jakowytsch Braude.
