Acid Breaks is a mix of genres Acid Techno, Acid House and breakbeat, and other forms of electronic dance music (English: Electronic dance music, short EDM).

The characteristics of the Acid Breaks are that the Drumline predominantly breakbeat music imitates, while the distinctive bass drums from other forms of EDM missing.

The first acid breaks track is " Acid Break" by Zak Baney ( Ralph Baney ) from the year 1987.
