Breathe Carolina

Breathe Carolina is a two -man electronica band, founded in 2007 in Denver, Colorado. It combines techno with elements of rock music and the post-hardcore and stands at Columbia Records.

History

The band was founded by the singers Kyle Even and David Schmitt 2007. The name comes from a dream that David Schmitt had as a child. 2007 the duo released its first EP titled "Gossip ". The pieces of the EP as well as six new compositions formed the basis for the 2008 released debut album "It's Classy, Not Classic". The second appeared in 2009 album "Hello Fascination" peaked at # 43 on the Billboard 200

The band was already with A Skylit Drive, Family Force 5, Brokencyde and other artists on tour. She has participated in a cover version of Miley Cyrus ' hit song " See You Again " on the compilation " Punk Goes Pop 2 ". In 2009, she was seen on the Vans Warped Tour on the SmartPunk.com stage. For their live performances, the duo hired a live band consisting of two keyboardists ( Joshua Andrew plays guitar) and a drummer.

The band participated in the Punk Goes Pop 3 compilation of Fearless Records and Rise Records with a cover of Jay Sean's song called "Down".

On 22 July 2011, the third studio album " Hell Is What You Make It " on Fearless Records has been published. The first single released from this album is called " Blackout". On 10 July 2012, the studio album titled " Hell Is What You Make It: RELOADED " was re-released under Columbia Records. This album contains their latest single "Hit and Run" and a remix version of the UK's Wide Boys. In addition, an updated, truncated version of "Last Night ( Vegas ) " and a new song " Reaching For The Floor ".

Mid- October 2013 gave the band announced that singer Kyle Even left the band to be with his newborn child and his family. The fourth album, titled " Savages " should appear on 15 April 2014.
