Bredebro

Bredebro was a municipality in Jutland Office, the southwestern part of the country in Denmark.

It originated in the administrative reform in 1970 from the parish communities Ballum, Brede, Randerup, Skast ( German: Schad ) and Visby ( German: Wiesby ). Since the village Bredebro in the parish Brede was the economy and transportation infrastructure most important place in these five communities, they chose their name as a label for the new municipality. With the municipal reform on 1 January 2007, the municipality went ( German: Tønder ) in the United Tønder Kommune on.
