Blazon: " Split; forward in a red gold silver reinforced Adler at slit, behind three green ears side by side. "

The armorial is the redesign of a previously confirmed image seal. Through the red eagle on the splitting the community expressed their affiliation with the Altmark. Everything south of Bever was was for crimping and everything was counted north of Altmark. To emphasize the " boundary layer ", the red eagle was chosen. The old Bregenstedter Siegel led a "wild man with three Roggenähren " as a seal image. From this, the three of rye were borrowed. As a community- specific, they symbolize as main crop even once belonging to the Altmark - compared to the wheat of the fertile flare.
