Breithorn (Lötschental)

The Lötschentaler Breithorn is a 3'785 m high peak in Valais in Switzerland. Located just south of the Lötschental in the Bernese Alps. The Lötschentaler Breithorn is part of the Bietschhorn. The formative exposure forms the northern slope.

The first ascent of the Breithorn Lötschentaler took place in 1869. Climbing is mostly coming from the south on the situated on 2783 meters in the Baltschiedertal Baltschiederklause or from the north of Blatten. Another route leads over the easternmost Oberaletschhütte.
